Over-voting threatens Gov Ishaku's victory‎
•I won't give up- APC Guber candidate

The All Progressive Congress APC governorship Candidate in Taraba state ‎Alhaji Sani Danladi on Monday submitted a seven volume petition challenging victory of Governor Darius Ishaku at the poll to the Election petition tribunal. ‎

The petition which was exclusively made available to Taraba Truth and Facts shows that 780,511 accredited voters provided the over 900,000 votes that gave Governor Ishaku's victory ‎at the polls.

In the election result declared by INEC  the winning PDP and three other runner ups APC, UDP and YDP pulled 520,423; ‎362,736;16,200 and 1208 votes respectively. While a total of votes pulled by 19 other contestant was put at 2,000 putting it at a total of 900567 votes‎.

The petition also shows that they were great disparities between election results released at the polling units; ward collation centers; local government collation centers and the final results.

In the petition Governor Darius Ishaku will also have to defend issues like voting without the use of card readers, snatching of ballot boxes particularly in the Southern Zone.

A close look at  the result announced shows that
Irregularities that mar the last governorship election in Taraba State are major source of concern for Governor Darius Ishaku .

‎"Our petition has now made the Darius’s government to become so jittery with the way we took our time to scrutinize the whole election materials in other to build a strong, solid and viable case for victory.

Our team of lawyers stands out to be the best in Nigeria especially in election cases as well as in the technical aspect of presenting and winning cases of its kind, we have scrutinize all our evidences, exhibits at hand,we have 95% percentage chances of winning this case."‎

The APC governorship candidate said he won't go into any alliance with Governor Ishaku  saying he won't compromise the mandate given to him by the people.‎

"We are thus therefore calling on all Tarabans and our teaming supporters that we were never in any agreement with Darius’s government to form any government of unity of whatever kind and we shall never be a part.

The said committees formed by Darius government to entice us with Money are on their own and we have blocked all means and avenues for them to meet or approach us as we will never give them the face or chance to do so.

Our people, their yearnings and aspirations are our priorities and relieving them out of the perpetual bondage inflicted on them by the PDP’s four years is something we will never give up or compromise. We will fight the battle for real and to the last point to victory in the supreme court."‎
