Concern is mounting over the continued withholding of examination results of students at the College of Legal Studies, Jalingo Campus, affiliated to the College of Legal Studies, Yola, nearly ten months after the examinations were conducted.

A petition by a guardian of one of the affected students, alleges that the results have been withheld since October 18, 2025, without any official explanation from the institution’s management.

The petitioner described the situation as a matter of urgent public concern, noting that the prolonged delay has placed the affected students in a difficult position, hindering their ability to further their education, secure employment, and make meaningful life decisions.

According to the petition, repeated efforts by students and their guardians to obtain clarification from the school authorities have yielded no results, as no clear reasons or timeline for the release of the results have been provided.

The development, the petitioner said, has created widespread frustration, anxiety and uncertainty among the students and their families, many of whom have been left in limbo for months.

The guardian has appealed to the media, particularly radio stations, to investigate the matter and bring it to public attention, expressing confidence that increased scrutiny would compel the relevant authorities to act.

As of the time of filing this report, the management of the College of Legal Studies, Jalingo Campus, could not be reached for comments on the matter.
