In his remarks, the National President of the Hub Foundation, who also serves as Secretary to the Taraba State Government, Barrister Gebons Timothy Kataps, said the initiative aligns with the foundation’s mission of touching lives and supporting vulnerable groups in society.

He explained that the ATC location was deliberately selected to address the water needs of students and other residents in the area, noting that the project would provide relief and improve public health.

Also speaking, the Speaker of the Taraba State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. John Kizito Bonzena, who is the state chairman of the foundation, praised the organisation for undertaking the project despite prevailing economic challenges.

He described the borehole as a significant contribution to community development and urged beneficiaries to emulate such acts of service in the future.

According to him, the intervention serves not only as a relief measure but also as a model for students to replicate in their own communities after graduation.
