Residents of Sarkin Dawaki Ward in Jalingo Local Government Area are witnessing renewed infrastructural development as the councillor representing the ward, Honourable Ahmed Ismael Abdullahi, embarks on a series of projects aimed at improving the living conditions of the people.

The ongoing projects include the rehabilitation of roads in Kasuwan Yelwa and Baraya, repairs of boreholes at Galadima Junction, Baraya and Sarkin Dawaki, as well as the renovation of mosques across different parts of the ward. The interventions are designed to enhance accessibility, improve sanitation, and promote community welfare.

Speaking on the projects, Honourable Ahmed Ismael Abdullahi said the initiatives are part of his commitment to fulfilling campaign promises and delivering tangible dividends of democracy to his constituents.

He emphasized that the projects currently being executed mark only the beginning of a broader development agenda, assuring residents that there would be no pause in efforts until development reaches every corner of Sarkin Dawaki Ward.

The councillor further disclosed plans to roll out a massive women and youth empowerment programme aimed at promoting self-reliance, stimulating economic growth, and ensuring inclusive participation in governance.

Reacting to the developments, a resident of the ward, Zahruddeen Isa Dasso, expressed satisfaction with the pace of work, commending Honourable Ahmed Ismael Abdullahi for his dedication to community transformation.

He noted that Sarkin Dawaki Ward had not previously experienced such purposeful leadership at the council level and called on residents to protect the completed projects, while urging the councillor to sustain the momentum to further improve the lives of the people.
