PSN Commends Gov Kefas for Increasing Taraba Medical Students Bursary To N117,000

In a move that underscores his commitment to education and healthcare development, Governor Dr. Agbu Kefas of Taraba State has begun the disbursement of bursary funds to medical students from the state, increasing monthly allowances from ₦5,000 to ₦117,000. 

The increase covers students on bond with the state government, providing significant financial relief and allowing them to concentrate fully on their studies.

The Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN), Taraba State Branch, has expressed sincere appreciation to Governor Kefasfor the upward review, describing it as a clear demonstration of his dedication to investing in the future of healthcare in the state.

In a statement, Pharm. Nyajon Denis Ayetop, Chairman of PSN Taraba State Branch, said the enhanced allowance would alleviate financial burdens on pharmacy students, enabling them to contribute effectively to the state's healthcare sector upon graduation.
