2027: Youths Endorse Hon Ibrahim Imam For Jalingo, Yorro Zing Federal Constituency
The endorsement, made on behalf of youths from Jalingo, Yorro and Zing Federal Constituency, was announced by the Chairman of the Association, Comrade Auwal Mubarak Ahmad.
According to the association, the decision to endorse the former commissioner was based on tangible achievements rather than political promises. It noted that during his tenure as Commissioner for Youth, he prioritised youth empowerment and sports development, efforts which led to the construction of the Sports Complex in Jalingo.
The group further highlighted his contributions through the IMAM Foundation, where he established a hospital and a computer centre aimed at improving access to healthcare and promoting digital education among young people.
Comrade Ahmad said the association was impressed by what it described as a leadership style anchored on unity, inclusion and sustainable development, adding that the former commissioner has consistently demonstrated that leadership is about service, not position.
"The Taraba North Youth Likeminds Association hereby declares its full support and endorsement for his leadership and vision," Ahmad said.
He also called on residents of Jalingo, Yorro and Zing to rally behind the former youth commissioner in the interest of continued progress and development in Taraba North.
The association expressed optimism that sustained support for such people-oriented leadership would accelerate growth and strengthen unity across the constituency.
