Popular Gashaka Politician Appointed To Taraba APC E-Registration Committee

A young and influential politician from Gashaka Local Government Area of Taraba State, Hon. Aliyu Jalo, has been appointed as a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) E-registration Committee in the state.

 

Jalo described the appointment as a vote of confidence and expressed gratitude to the leader of the APC in Taraba State, Governor Agbu Kefas, for finding him worthy to serve. He also acknowledged the role played by his political mentor, Barr. Elsudi, who facilitated the appointment.

 

"I sincerely thank His Excellency, Dr. Agbu Kefas, for trusting one of our own with this responsibility. I am also deeply grateful to my boss, Barr. Elsudi, whose support and guidance made this appointment possible," he said.

 

Hon. Jalo, who contested the 2023 Taraba State House of Assembly election to represent Gashaka Constituency and emerged as the second runner-up, has since commenced massive grassroots mobilisation ahead of the e-registration exercise.

 

He further appreciated the leadership and members of the New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP) for the opportunity to serve under the platform, while wishing the party success in its future engagements.

 

Widely regarded as a grassroots politician, Aliyu Jalo is known in Gashaka for his consistent humanitarian activities. He regularly distributes food items and clothing to orphans and widows across religious lines during festive periods. His commitment to education has also seen him award scholarships to hundreds of orphans and indigent students within the local government area.
