Ussa Communities Appeal to FG, Governor Kefas for Road Construction

Residents of Ussa Local Government Area of Taraba State have appealed to Governor Agbu Kefas and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to prioritize the construction of the Ussa road, describing it as a lifeline for the area's economic and social development.

In a passionate plea, community members urged political leaders and aides to draw urgent attention to the deplorable condition of the road, which they said has crippled business activities, increased the cost of transportation, and worsened the hardship of daily commuters.

They noted that constructing the Ussa road would not only bring relief to residents but also strengthen political goodwill in the state.

"Ussa people will give Governor Kefas over 30,000 votes in 2027 if he constructs this road for us," the community declared. "Those close to President Tinubu should also intervene. Tinubu will win with a wide margin in Ussa if he fixes this road before 2027."

Reaffirming their political loyalty, the residents recalled that they stood by Senator Emmanuel Bwacha during the last election and delivered on their promises of support. They insisted that their words should not be doubted, stressing that the construction of the road would be reciprocated with massive electoral backing.

The communities further appealed to both the state and federal governments to consider their plight, emphasizing that good roads remain vital to peace, commerce, and progress in Ussa.
