Beneficiaries Hail Taraba APC Chairman Who Facilitated 51 Federal Appointments — 34 Beneficiaries From Taraba State

 

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Taraba State and Chairman of the Environmental Health Council of Nigeria (EHCON), Mallam Ibrahim Tukur El-Sudi, has facilitated the appointment of 51 Nigerians into Federal Government positions, with 34 of the beneficiaries coming from Taraba State.

 

The presentation of appointment letters took place at El-Sudi's chamber in Jalingo, with party leaders, community representatives and beneficiaries in attendance.

 

Speaking during the event, El-Sudi said the appointments were based on merit and not political interest.

"I promised some of you that I would secure appointments, and today I am here to fulfill that promise. These appointments are purely on merit. I urge you all to be dedicated and diligent in your service," he said.

 

The beneficiaries are drawn from various fields including public health, environmental sciences, computer science, administration, and education.

 

APC leaders present praised El-Sudi for the effort. Hon. Baba Jadana, APC Zonal Chairman (Northern Zone), said: "We have had several APC chairmen in Taraba, but none has facilitated employment for our youths like you. Regardless of political affiliation, you have shown commitment. You are the best chairman Taraba has produced."

 

APC State Secretary, Hon. Fidelis Francis, urged the appointees to be worthy ambassadors of the party, while Mr. Marwan Gambo, the chairman's personal assistant, said his principal has consistently provided opportunities for Taraba youths in federal institutions.

 

A beneficiary from Karim Lamido, King David, recalled how El-Sudi promised two federal appointments for the area during the State House of Assembly bye-election campaign. "Today that promise has been fulfilled. We are grateful," he said.

 

Beneficiaries described the appointments as the largest federal employment secured for Taraba youths in recent history. They commended El-Sudi for setting an example of leadership based on merit and inclusiveness.
