AN OPEN LETTER OF COMPLAINT AND REQUEST FOR THE SETTING UP OF A FACT-FINDING COMMITTEE TO INVESTIGATE THE AWARD AND THE PURPOTED EXECUTION OF PROJECTS ACROSS TARABA STATE BY THE NORTH-EAST DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION IN THE SUM OF N26,845,194,966.03 (TWENTY-SIXBILLION, EIGHT HUNDRED AND FORTY-FIVE MILLION, ONE HUNDRED AND NINETY-FOUR THOUSAND, NINE HUNDRED AND SIXTY-SIX NAIRA,POINT THREE KOBO)  

1. We are a firm of Legal Consultants, Solicitors, Advocates, Human Right Activist, Members of the Amnesty International, Aspirant Members of the World Jurist Association with our office name and address above and below the first page of this letter.

2. Sir, we write as patriotic citizens of Taraba Stateto appreciate you and your indefatigable members of the Executive, Legislative and Judicial arms of the Government for the patriotic discharge of the onerous responsibility of the Government of Taraba State. May the Almighty God continue to bless the State, the leaders and the entire citizens of the State.

3. As concerned citizens, we owe you and the State a duty of providing necessary information whenever same is received which may use for the benefit of the State.

5. Your Excellency sir, 80% of the above-mentionedprojects were not carried out as investigations from the affected areas reveals.

6. Your excellency sir, as a concerned citizen of the State, who love to see progress rather than backwardness of the State as we learnt from you, we deem it desideratum to appeal to your exalted office under your distinguished and exemplary leadership to set up a powerful Fact-Finding Committee to go round the 16 Local Government Areas where the projects are said  to have been executed with the view to finding out the reality or otherwise of the projects.

7. Sir, the people of the State are appreciative of the way and manner you are piloting the affairs of the State and pray for God guidance and protection for you to continue with your beneficial projects and securing the lives and properties of the citizens of the State.  

8. Your Excellency Sir, if our complaint ismeritorious, and the Government is inclined to setting up the Fact-Finding Committee, we urge your exalted office to have regards to the representation by the Nigerian Bar Association, Jalingo and Wukari Branches for effective Fact-Finding and Report delivery.
