COMPLAINT AGAINST THE DEPUTY SPEAKER OF TARABA STATE (ALHAJIHAMMAN ADAMA ABDULLAHI), THE GAMWARI OF DAKA (ALHAJI ALIYU YUSUF), THE DISTRICTHEAD OF DAKA (BILIYAMINU) FOR CRIMINAL CONSPIRACY INCITING OF ETHNIC CRISIS,ETHNIC CLEANSING, CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION, ARSON, DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTIES,CRIMINAL LAND TRESPASS AND LAND GRABING. We are solicitors and legal consultants to ALH. HAMMAN-ADAMA ABDULLAHI the Deputy Speaker Taraba State House of Assembly, ALH. ALIYU YUSUF GANWARI of Dakka (Second Class Chief of Dakka Chiefdom) and BILYAMINU YUSUF the District Head of Dakka (hereinafter referred to as "our clients") on whose instruction we write to respond to a purported allegations of the above subject matter written by Mr. Isa Buba, Esq. of Isa Buba & Associates, addressed to your office for investigation.

In order to make the record straight Sir, we wish to bring to your notice that, all the allegations labelled against our clients are false, malicious and total calculations to tarnish the reputable image of our clients.

It will interest you to know that, the subject matter of this petition is already before a court of law as pointed out by the petitioners and because of that we cannot make any comment on that. However for the purpose of response to the allegations we wish to say that: -

1.                 Our clients are not parties to the case before the court and, there is no order given against our clients as claimed by the petitioners. We kindly refer you to the annexture of the COURT ORDER by the petitioners.

2.                 Our clients, are the Second Class Emir of Dakka Chiefdom, the Member Representing Dakka Constituency at the Taraba State House of Assembly and the District Head of Dakka Town who are all leaders in Dakka Chiefdom and there is no record of any communal, ethnic or tribal crisis of whatsoever in Dakka Chiefdom, while all the purported petitioners are nomadic Fulani herders who usually migrate from one place to another for the purpose of rearing their animals and or farming in some cases.

3.                 It will interest you to know that, there are more than 25 different settlements of Fulani people in Dakka land including the petitioners living precisely around Bodiri and Nyikusum Villages of Dakka Chiefdom and all of them are allowed to settle in the area by the permission of the Emir of Dakka through his representatives at Bodiri and Nyikusum.

4.                 It will equally interest you to know that the Dakka Chiefdom is a very vast land where farming activities are taking place seriously in which the Emir of Dakka and the Honourable Deputy Speaker are the leaders of the Chiefdom who ensure that their people are living peacefully within the area, this is the reason why the leaders set up a committee to visit and resolve all farm issues in the area, and the people that are settling around Bodiri village where given about 300 hectares of land to farm in the Bodiri Area on the 24th May,  2025 by the Emir of Daka.

5.                 We equally wish to bring to your notice that, our clients are ready and available to come to your office at any given time in order to shade more light as regard to our response.

We urge your office to conduct a very thorough investigation into all the allegations of the petitioners by inviting the actual petitioners to your office for the purpose of bringing lasting solution to the matter.
