UMCN Opens New Medical Lab In Jalingo
The United Methodist Church, UMCN Jalingo, has commissioned a new medical laboratory in its Secretariat.
Bishop John Wesley Yohanna while commissioning the facility, commended members of the board ofthe church for their outstanding work and dedication to project.
In her remark, Rev. Dr. Eunice I. Musa stated that Health is wealth, emphasizing the importance of overall well-being.
She reminded everyone of the significance good health in the society and stressing that the new laboratory is equipped to test for all kinds of illnesses.
Speaking at the event, the Galadima of Muri, Tukur Abba Tukur, lauded the leadership of Bishop John Wesley and asked him to continue with good work
He said the hospital has significant impact on lives of people and its commitment to serving humanity without discrimination.
In their different remarks, the Permanent Secretary of the Health Management Board, Taraba State, Dr. Ahmad Kara and the Executive secretary of Primary health care development agency Dr Tukura Haruna Nyigwa commended the leadership of Bishop John Wesley Yohanna for his selfless efforts in bringing such a developmental initiative.
They also reiterated their commitment to support the health facility.
A medical Doctor at the UMCN orphanage clinic,Dr. Godfrey Ogbu appreciated the effective leadership of Bishop John Wesley, stating that the laboratory is part of UMCN's contribution to complement Taraba's efforts in providing medical services.
He thanked the state government for its continued support and called for further assistance with manpower to ensure the facility's effective functioning.
