Muslims Council Hails Gov. Kefas Positive Disposition Toward Muslim Ummah


 

The Governor of Taraba State Dr Agbu Kefas has again reiterated his commitment to do justice in governance for the progress and development of Taraba State.

 

Dr Agbu Kefas stated this on Tuesday at the Exco Chamber Government House, Jalingo when he received the Leadership of the Muslim Council of Nigeria, Taraba State chapter in the government house on a courtesy visit.

 

Dr Agbu Kefas, said he is going to do what will bring development and progress to the state because in the hereafter he will stand before God to give account of his stewardship.

 

While appreciating the Muslim Council for the visit, Dr Agbu Kefas stressed the need for unity and collaboration in the interest of the state.

 

Earlier, the Chairman, Taraba State chapter of the Muslim Council of Nigeria, Sheik Mohammed Bashir Modibbo Hamman Adama told the Governor that they were in the Government House to appreciate him for his positive disposition toward the Muslim Ummah in the state.

 

According to him, the Governor has graciously granted their request for a reduction of working hours during the just concluded Ramadan fast, constituted the Muslim Pilgrim Welfare Board and made available food items to the Ummah among other things. 

 

The Courtesy call was attended by some members of the State Executive Council.
