Taraba Varsity Female Students Applaud Gov Kefas Over Remodeling Of Hostel

Female students at Taraba State University (TSU) have continued to applauded Governor Agbu Kefas for remodeling their Hostel which deteriorate  over years without given attention by the past administrations of government in the state.

The female students who are currently been at home until the completion of the remodeling of the hostel decided to storm the school on Sunday in their numbers to see for themselves the ongoing work on their Hostels.

Some of the students, Miss Comfort Dooyum, Malliam Sefianu and Laliat Usman who spoke to journalist at the school said they were astonished having seen the way their Hostel has been transformed to a model facility. 

"We see that power supply is all round the facility, we use to go to the streets to use solar power to read, now we can read even inside our rooms, we also discovered that the water system in the Hostels has been revamp and very clean, with this accommodation, we can study conveniently without hitches. 

"We appreciate Governor Kefas for his commitment to improve education sector in the state.

The Site Engineer of the PJ Energy Solution Ventures  who is handling the remodeling of the Hostels Engr. DA Agbu assured the students that the Hostel was ready for the returning students who are due to resume school on the 25th January 2024

The project is one of the Governor Agbu Kefas's Education Intervention Projects, education top Taraba State's 2024 budget with the sum of N43.2 billion representing 13.9 per cent of the total N311. Billion of the 2024 budget.
