Mumuye Women, Jalingo Forum Endorses Abbas Tafida

The women of the Mumuye Nation have declared their support for the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP for the seat of Jalingo Yorro Zing Federal Constituency bye election Prince Sadiq Abbas Tafida.

With unwavering conviction, the women, representing diverse backgrounds and age groups, have endorsed Prince Sadiq, lauding his vision, integrity, and commitment to uplifting the Mumuye people.

Gathered in a vibrant assembly, women from all corners of the Mumuye Nation voiced their collective endorsement for Prince Sadiq Abbas Tafida, citing his proven track record of service and his dedication to advancing the interests of the community.

Meanwhile at a community dialogue meeting convened by the Jalingo Development Foundation (JADEF) under the theme "Promoting Peace for Sustainable Development," members of various unions and associations declare their unified support for Engr. Sadiq Abbas Tafida, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) candidate vying for the vacant seat of member of the Jalingo Yorro Zing Federal Constituency in the upcoming bye-election.

The meeting, intended to foster dialogue on peace-building initiatives for sustainable development, took an unexpected turn when attendees shifted focus to endorsing the PDP candidate.

Amidst discussions on community development and peace-building strategies, members of unions and associations said  PDP's candidate Engr. Sadiq Abbas Tafida is the best to represent them at the National Assembly.

The unexpected politicization of the dialogue meeting underscored the intersection of grassroots community engagement and electoral politics. Also speaking at the dialogue meeting, the Chairman of Jalingo local government council, Hon. Aminu Jauro Hassan commended the organisers for coming up with such gathering in search of peace for sustainable development.
