Jolly Nyame, Garba Umar UTC Denies Endorsing Shuaibu Lau For Senate

       APC Chieftain, Ali Sani Kona Declares Support For PDP Candidate

Former Governor of Taraba state, Reverend Jolly T. Nyami has debunked rumor making rounds

that he has endorsed candidate of the People's Democratic Party, for Taraba North senatorial

zone, Shua'ibu Isa Lau , for the 2023 election.

In a statement by his media team, the former governor advised those spreading the rumor to

disist from it. He said such information is mischievous. The statement added that, for the avoidance of doubt, the former governor has not endorsed

any candidate and shall make his decision known to the public very soon.

Also Former Acting Gov.Garba Umar UTC has denied endorsing Sen. Shuaibu Lau, candidate of PDP for Taraba Northern Senatorial District in the Saturday National Assembly Election.

This is contained in a statement issued by Umar and made available to newsmen in Jalingo.

He advised the general public to desist from spreading such a rumour.

" Our attention is drawned to a video trending  that  Dr. Garba Umar (UTC) former Acting Governor of Taraba state has endorsed Senator Shuaibu Isa Lau for Senate.  

"This is far from the truth. Members of the general public are  please advised to desist from  spreading such  rumors.

"I therefore, advise Sen Lau to please go out there and seek for supporters and not to rely on  H  E, Dr. Garba Umar UTC. 

"You are again advised to desist  from spreading such rumor because this will lead  you to nowhere,' he said.
