Chiroma Yakubu Foundation Supports Bali/Gassol students with Cash


 



The Chiroma Yakubu Charity Foundation has offered financial assistance to over eighty students in Gassol and Bali local government areas of Taraba State.

 

The Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation Jaafar Yakubu Chiroma said eighty students of Bali and Gassol Local Governments across various tertiary institutions across the country were given financial support in the recent batch of  its education endowment programme.

 

"We supported various students during registrations and beginning  of the semesters; this is the third batch of supporting students, we supported sixty students in the first batch and hundred students in the second batch, so this is the third of its kind the feedback on how the support has been helpful to students in their time of need has always encourage use to do more," Yakubu said.

 

The Chiroma Yakubu Charity Foundation, he said  also paid  for WAEC and NECO examination fees for  various indigent  students and organizes women empowerment inconjunction  with National Directorate of Employment NDE in Bali and Gassol local government areas.

The Chiroma Yakubu Charity Foundation while implementing it's programs and projects undertakes community mobilization so as to raise awareness in community on health and hygiene, importance of education in modern day affairs, gender related issues, socio-economic development and environmental protection.
