Ibbi LG Boss Bags Best LG Chairman In Nigeria On Security


 

The chairman of Ibbi Local government of Taraba, Hon. Dr. Bako has been awarded the best local government chairman in Nigeria 2021, On Thursday, in Abuja.

 

Medals magazine, a leading magazine, the organizers of Nigerian Local Government Excellence Awards (LOGEXA2021) awarded the Local Government boss for his tremendous strides and achievements regarding security and his support. The award came with a brand new car.

 

The chairman, in his acceptance speech, hailed the organisers of the award for recognising his efforts and his strides despite the insecurity that has ravaged the city like a pandemic.

 

Recall that a week prior, in a bid to contain the rise in insecurity that has been ravaging the nation and as part of measures to bring it to its minimum, the Chairman of Ibbi Local Area of Taraba State, Hon. Dr. Bako Bala who doubles as the ALGON chairman, visited some districts to interact with members of security forces and other critical stakeholders.

 

The district visited by the chairman includes Sarkin kudu district, Dambar, and Ibbi District where he met with soldiers, police, and vigilante in his quest for bringing peace in all the nook and crannies of the Local Government.

 

Dr. Bala while interacting with the security personnel respectively commended their relentless efforts, sleepless nights, and giant strides that have resulted in a cut down on criminal activities in the LG. He however remains resolute in the quest to protect his fatherland and maintain order in the axis.

 

The chairman asked of their challenges and how he, the state government, and other relevant bodies can come in as he promises to support them as he has always done.

 

The security men of the aforementioned districts applauded the step taken by the chairman insisting it is a morale boost and sign of concern.
