Gassol Citizen Asks Gov. Ishaku to Dissolve Sansani Chiefdom
A Concern Citizen of Gassol I State Constituency Comr. Mansur Munkaila Jirgi has appealed to Taraba State Governor Darius Ishaku to dissolve newly created Sansani Chiefdom saying peace has eluded the area since the creation of the Sansani Chiefdom.
Jirgi in an open letter to Governor Ishaku said the creation of Sansani chiefdom was a mistake that should be to correct by the present Administration.
"Sansani enjoyed more peace when it was under the watch of Gassol chiefdom than the present time when they seem to be on their own. Sansani alone shouldn't be allow to disturb the peace been enjoyed by her neighboring communities like Wurojam, Kufai, Guiwa, Gungu among others," the letter reads in part.

THE NEED TO DISSOLVE SANSANI CHIEFDOM AS A MEANS OF RESTORING PEACE TO THE COMMUNITY AND GASSOL ENVIRONS
As a bonafide of Jiddawo, Tella and also a Concern citizen of Gassol local Government area of Taraba state who has so much interest on peace and Development of our dear people.
Gassol chiefdom initially, comprises of 6 Districts namely Gassol, Sendirde, Sansani, Yerima, Wurojam and the oldest one among them Wuryo.
Your Excellency, on your first tenure as the executive Governor of Taraba state you created two new chiefdom namely Kwararafa and Sansani Chiefdoms in Gassol I Constituency in line with his Excellency's mission of making peace available to all but unfortunately Sansani chiefdom have been in more trouble since the creation of that chiefdom.
Your excellency, if places that were demarcated to be part of the chiefdom are now agitating to part away from the chiefdom, that means the chiefdom needs to be scrapped.
For the chiefdom to continue existing. Kufai and Guiwa need to be given their freedoms too from Sansani.
Your Excellency Sir, if Sansani as a chiefdom can't make peace with Gungu bodel and the chiefdom can even go ahead to cause a factional community leader despite it been in Gassol chiefdom, then Your excellency the issue of boundary between Sansani and Wurojam is still existing, Your excellency even within the Sansani town there are domestic disputes that mostly cause by the newly created chiefdom.
As a matter of fact your excellency, Sansani alone shouldn't be allow to disturb the peace been enjoyed by her neighboring communities like Wurojam, Kufai, Guiwa, Gungu among others.
Your Excellency Sansani enjoyed more peace when it was under the watch of Gassol chiefdom than the present time when they seem to be on their own.
Your Excellency, mistake were made from the beginning by creating Sansani chiefdom because if a District like Wuryo that comprises of Tella, Sabongida and the former Dan'anacha that have more ethnic groups than any other district in Gassol chiefdom can't be giving a chiefdom, i think the creation of Sansani chiefdom was a mistake and to correct that will be one of the legacies of the present Administration.
Your Excellency, i think it is time for an executive Communication to the legislative arm so as to bring an end to the above mentioned chiefdom for peace to reign in that part of the state.
It is my hope that Our Rescue Captain will look into the above issue and provide a lasting solution to it.
