Krystal Foundation Takes Free Medical Outreach To Orphanage in Jalingo, Donates Drugs



Orphans and vulnerable children at the UMCN Orphanage in Jalingo Taraba state has received free medical treatments and medicines worth hundreds of thousands  from a non-profit organization,  Krystal Foundation.



A statement by the foundation  Director of Media, Dankishiya Mustapha Saleh said series of tests were conducted on the orphans by the Foundation's team of medical professionals, and medication was provided as a remedy during the outreach.

Saleh added that the Foundation also donates some relief materials which include food items and clothing alongside medicines worth hundreds of thousands were also donated to the orphanage. Among the medicines donated includes Anti-biotics, Antiemetics, Anthelmintics, Antihistamine, Antitussive, Antimalarial, Analgesics, and others.
President Krystal Foundation, Emmanuel George  called on other Nigerians including corporates and individuals to see the need to give to the vulnerable in the society especially the orphans.

While  appreciating  efforts of the Taraba State Government in providing humanitarian assistance to the less privileged through the Hope Afresh Foundation, George said the foundation will continue to compliment government efforts in responding to plights of the less privileged in the society. 
He said the foundation  will continue to render community service in education, poverty eradication, youth empowerment, youth development and capacity building training, fighting against malnutrition and disease affecting people in Taraba state.
