WIfe of Taraba based Businessman Chief Uche Obi who was kidnapped in Jalingo, Mrs Chika Obi has exonerated  former Acting Governor Alhaji Sani Abubakar Danlandi from kidnapping allegations

Mrs Chika in a press statement she personally signed said as at the time of the incident information at the disposal of the family suggested her claims, however investigations by security agencies has proven that the former Governor was not in the know of her husband disappearance.

She noted that an associate of her husband had wrongfully misinformed the family on the matter.

"I want to publicly tender an apology to Alhaji Sani Abubakar Danlandi, we thought the kidnapping of Uche Obi was connected to the failed business Transactions between them. We have since found out that both incidents are not connected.

She said the former Acting Governor Sani Abubakar Danlandi only petitioned the police on the transaction, investigations showed he was never behind Uche Obi disappearance.

"We sorry for whatever embarrassment linking him to the kidnap has caused," Mrs Obi said in a statement she personally signed.

Mrs Obi said it's only logical for one to think that the failed business transaction with the politician was responsible for his disappearance. 

"Information available to me now has shown that Sani Contact was not behind my husband kidnap but criminals which police are already trailing.

I MRS. CHIKA OBI wish to inform the  GENERAL PUBLIC  That the abductions of my husband MR. Uche Obi  has nothing to do with Alhaji Sani Danladi  Abubakar (Contact ). He  has no hands in the said kidnapping after investigation.  I on behalf of my family Uche Obi  apologise  to Alhaji Sani Danladi Abubakar because we were misinformed.  That this fact became clear after his released with all publications.
