Gov. Ishaku plans to ‘Christianize Taraba’- Muslim Leader blows hot

A Muslim leader in the state said any attempt to impeach the Deputy Governor, Haruna Manu would spark violence, while condemning the impeachment of Hon Muhamed Danladi Gwampo as Deputy Speaker, Taraba state House of Assembly.
The Muslim leader who does not want to be mention in an exclusive interview  Taraba Truth and Fact said the Muslims community are not happy with the development, expressing worries that the Deputy Governor might be next in line to be impeached.
“We don’t trust this government abit, you know there was a certain document called the Convent, we are begin to believe it’s real, because there is no bases from impeaching Alhaji Gwampo as Deputy Speaker at these moment, he was there for four years competent, but because the Governor and his cabals has gotten their second term, a competent Deputy Speaker for four years is no longer competent, even the Speaker Abel, during his re-election as Speaker commended his Deputy Gwampo for their cordial relationship, meaning he was competent in the last four years, irrespective of any political reason given, the leadership of the state  Assembly is not fairly constituted at this moment.

This show the pettiness in Taraba government, Governor Ishaku plans to ‘Christianize’ Taraba state, that is goal. He is not doing anything to develop the state but cause religion confusion and destroy the harmony between the Christians and the Muslims. Am calling on our patriotic Christian brethren not to support this shenanigan, let us all strive to build a society devoid of needless religious suspicion.
Honestly, Taraba State will boil if they attempt to impeach Alhaji Manu, Nigeria is a circular state, so Taraba belong to all of us, and we should always balance political office, look at the political leadership in Taraba state, it’s all occupied by a single faith and you expect the other faith to be comfortable, no, we are not.
He urged Governor Ishaku to stop ill treatment of Muslims in the state and “give them what is right to them, we also vote for him, we have many Muslims in the PDP who campaigned and voted for him also. In his last tenure how many Muslims were appointed into strategic offices, even if he wants to appoint everybody from Southern Taraba, don’t we have Muslims from Southern Zone .”
