Football Community Suspend Ex Taraba FA Chair Timothy Heman


*Affirms  Sanusi Mahmud as Authentic FA  Chair

The Taraba State Local Football Chairmen and the State sports council has unanimously agreed and suspends indefinitely former State Football Association Chairman Timothy Heman from all sports activities in the state,

Chairman Takum local football council Mr Victor Ando Andrew made this known in a  communiqué was issued after an emergency  general assembly  held at the Secretariat of the football Association at Jolly Nyame stadium in Jalingo.

Ando Andrew described  Timothy Heman as an imposter, who want to remain  Chairman of the State FA at all cost.
He said the state FA would not be intimidated by comprised representative of NFF who want to force Timothy Heman on the football community.
He said Timothy Heman was suspended for opening a fractional office and not complying with regulations of the state FA.
He added that the former FA Chair Timothy Heman    brought some miscreants to intimidate the football family in the State because his bid to retain his position failed, Ando Andrew said they can't be intimidated by miscreants, stressing that the FA will go ahead with its  grassroots football competition tags Governor Cup 2019.
He noted that Sanusi Mahmud Mohammed remains the recognized FA Chairman of Taraba football association.
Meanwhile outside the meeting, football fans from across the state armed with placards with various inscriptions, such as ‘we reject imposition of leaders’, the protesters vowed to resist any attempts by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to suspend football activities in the state.
The protesters, who expressed dismay at the position of the NFF representative, Ibrahim Gusau said he ought to tread the “right path “ by engaging the various factions on a round table dialogue.
They urged the NFF President, Amaju Pinnick, to call “Gusau and his loyalists to order,” saying Timothy Heman is using Gusau to cause confusion in the football community in Taraba state
The Protesters affirmed Sanusi Mahmud Mohammed as the ‘genuine Taraba FA chairman,’ because he was duly elected.
They urged the NFF to put the  matter to rest and allow  the state FA leaders achieve his  plans to move football forward in Taraba State.
All efforts to speak to Timothy Heman on his suspension proved abortive as calls to his MTN line were not answered.
