Sardauna Elders Notify APC Of Endorsing S.M Nguroje’s For Senate

 

 The Elders Forum of SardaunaLocal Government Area in Gembu has formally notified the All Progressives Congress (APC) leadership of its decision to endorse Rt. Hon. Babangida S.M. Nguroje for the Taraba Central Senatorial seat ahead of the 2027 general elections. 

 

In a letter addressed to the divisional APC executives in Sardauna, the elders said the endorsement followed a unanimous agreement reached after consultations across the local government.

 

The forum cited Nguroje’s “credibility, competency, and commitment to service” as key reasons for backing his aspiration, expressing confidence that he would provide effective representation at the National Assembly if given the mandate.

 

“The Elders of Sardauna Local Government have unanimously agreed to endorse Rt. Hon. BabangidaS.M. Nguroje to contest for the Senate seat of Taraba Central Zone in 2027,” the letter stated.

 

The elders added that Nguroje’s track record in public service and his dedication to the progress of the people positioned him as a suitable candidate to represent the zone.

 

The endorsement was issued under the leadership of Alhaji Usman Muhammadu Gire, Chairman of the Sardauna Elders Forum. The forum comprises stakeholders from various ethnic groups within the APC in the area, including Mambilla, Kaka, Panso, Fulani, and Kambu communities.

 

Nguroje, a former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, is expected to join the growing list of aspirants positioning for the Taraba Central senatorial race as political alignments begin ahead of 2027.
