Professor Jerome Nyameh, a governorship aspirant in Taraba State, emerged as one of the notable figures at the 2026 Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Convention in Abuja, where he rallied support and reaffirmed confidence in the party's strength.

Popularly known by supporters as "The People's Professor," Nyameh energized delegates with chants of "PDP Power," reflecting renewed enthusiasm and unity among party faithful at the gathering.

Associated with the "Taraba Therapy" movement, Nyameh used the convention to engage widely with stakeholders and delegates, particularly from Taraba State, signaling increasing grassroots mobilization ahead of future political contests.
