APC Stakeholders Intensify E-Registration Drive Across Taraba

Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Taraba State have intensified mobilisation efforts across wards and local government areas as the party's electronic membership registration exercise gathers momentum.

The renewed push follows a directive urging party leaders and supporters to return to their respective wards to boost participation and expand the party's membership base at the grassroots level.

In Jalingo Local Government Area, the State Commissioner for Information and Re-Orientation, Barrister Zainab Usman Jalingo, spearheaded mobilisation efforts in Majidadi Ward through the Ward Councillor, Hon. Sarki Abba Ila. The exercise witnessed the engagement of additional personnel to enhance efficiency, including five extra registrars to complement the existing ten officials, alongside the deployment of about thirty volunteers for coordination and community outreach.

Party members and supporters turned out in large numbers for the exercise, which was held at the residence of the late Prof. Ahmed Usman Jalingo. Organisers said the initiative is part of efforts to position Majidadi Ward among the highest in membership registration within Jalingo and the state at large.

Barr. Zainab Usman Jalingo reiterated the importance of the digital registration process, describing it as a vital step toward strengthening the party's structure and ensuring inclusiveness at the grassroots.

Similarly, political figures across the state have continued to align with the party through the ongoing e-registration exercise. In Barade Ward of Jalingo, Mallam Aminu Jika formally registered as a member of the APC, pledging his support and participation in party activities. The event attracted party leaders and supporters from various wards within the local government.

In Sardauna Local Government Area, Hon. Nicholas Nordue Sankun also completed his electronic membership registration at Mbamga Ward, describing the APC as a platform committed to progressive governance and inclusive development. He encouraged youths and eligible citizens to take advantage of the digital process, noting that mass participation would strengthen internal democracy and position the party for future electoral contests.

Party supporters at the various registration centres commended the ongoing mobilisation, expressing optimism that the exercise would deepen grassroots participation and consolidate the party's presence across Taraba State.
