Rep. Sadiq Tafida Tells FERMA To Fix Jalingo-Numan Road

Member Representing Jalingo, Yorro Zing Federal Constituency Hon. Sadiq Abbas Tafida has called on the Federal Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA) to expedite action on the rehabilitation of Jalingo to Numan road, a critical infrastructure that will boost trade and commercial activities when in good condition. 

The Lawmaker made the call  in Abuja during an oversight visit by the House Committee on Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA). 

Rep. Sadiq lamented that the journey from Jalingo to Yola which is approximately one and a half hours is now over three hours due to the derelict state of the federal highway thereby subjecting road users and commuters to untold hardship.

He further informed the Managing Director of the agency of his readiness to partner with his office to fashion out modalities that would fast-track the speedy rehabilitation of the critical road network that connects not only Taraba and Adamawa but several states of the Northeast.
