Rep Sadiq Tafida Dazzles Constituents With Ramadan Packages

The Lawmaker representing Jalingo, Yorro and Zing Federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Rep. Sadiq Abbas Tafida has flagged of the distribution of Ramadan packages worth millions of naira to his constituents in the three local government areas of Jalingo, Yorro, Zing of Taraba state. 

The disbursement of the materials which includes cash running into millions of naira was specially designed to cater for the less privileged, disabled and the downtrodden so as to ease the current economic hardship in the society.

Represented at the event by Hon. Bashir Yakubu, Rep. Tafida said the items is not specifically meant for only Muslim members of the constituency but also Christians and even those who do not have religion as hunger has no regard for religion, tribe or political affiliation. 

Receiving the items on behalf of Jalingo local government, Hon. Peter Thani, The vice chairman of the council hailed the lawmaker for the gesture describing it as unprecedented considering the very short time upon which he assumed office calling on other political office holders to emulate his leadership style. 

Also speaking the Taraba state chairman of the people living with disabilities and the disabled Mr. Ali Matudi commended the lawmaker for having their colony in mind and extending a helping hand to them at this very critical period.
