Taraba’s Social Justice Commissioner Gets Parliamentary Writers Award

The Taraba State Commissioner for Social Justice and Reintegration, Dr Filister Musa Irarimam, has been awarded by the African Legislative Parliamentary Writers. 

The award was presented in recognition of her outstanding leadership skills, particularly for her open-door policy, prudence in fund management, and unbiased equitable distribution of government intervention across the state, which is in line with Governor Agbu Kefas' people-centered and oriented all-inclusive administration. 

The award was presented to her in her office.

Mr. Justine Ihuman, the representative of the association, explained that the award was a testament to her exceptional performance, which made her worthy of the prestigious recognition. 

The African Legislative Parliamentary Writers Forum is a body comprising journalists from print, electronic, and online media houses that cover plenary and reports during parliamentary sessions and summits across the 54 African Nations, particularly on the floor of the National Assembly, Abuja.

Dr Filister Irarimam Musa expressed her heartfelt gratitude to God Almighty and Dr. Agbu Kefas for the rare opportunity to serve in his government.

She promised to continue working tirelessly towards moving Taraba forward with the Governor's agenda. 

The commissioner dedicated the award to God Almighty and Governor, Agbu Kefas, for setting the pace for excellence and prudence.

The Commissioner praised Governor Kefas for his achievements since he assumed office, including prioritizing the elimination of corruption, free education, and road projects, among others. 

She said Governor Kefas's few months in office have witnessed a downpour of commendable transformative achievements that have ignited hope, improved livelihoods and rekindled the spirit of optimism amongst the Taraba people.
