Contractor Takes Over Site For Construction Of Federal Secretariat Jalingo

 The Federal Government has  handed over the site for the construction of the Federal Secretariat complex in Jalingo to UYK Construction Nigeria Ltd.

Alhaji Rabiu Ahmad (TPL), Controller Housing, Taraba Field Headquarters, Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development Jalingo, during the official handing over said that the Federal Government had graciously awarded the contract for the construction of a befitting Secretariat complex.

 

Ahmad said that the complex would ease office accommodation for federal agencies resident in the state.

He thanked the Taraba government for the provision of a befitting site.

He also expressed determination that the complex, upon completion, would add value to the beauty of Jalingo metropolis.

According to him, my dream of having a Secretariat complex being built in the state is fulfilled and I say thank God.

In his remark, Engr Usman Aliyu, Technical Manager of the company said that the work would commence within the week. 

Aliyu, who did not mention the contract sume said that the work duration was 18 months.

He expressed satisfaction with the site, assuring that Tarabans should expect a good and befitting edifice.

NAN reports that the site for the construction of the secretariat complex is located within the Jalingo metropolis, bordering the state secretariat complex.
