YEDC To Supply 30,000 Prepaid Meters To Jalingo- MD

 

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer CEO Yola Electricity Distribution Company YEDC Dr.Umar Hashimu said plans are underway for 30,000 prepaid meters to be supplied to customers in Jalingo metropolis.

 

Speaking during a visit to Jalingo, Dr.Umar said the Development is aimed at providing constant power supply to Jalingo residents and its environs.

 

He  revealed that the visit was designed to seek for partnership with the Corporation as part of Stakeholders-community-engagememt interface in Jalingo to address power supply issues.

 

Dr Umar Hashimu reiterated the readiness of the YEDC in meeting the power supply needs of Tarabans, stressing that all power supply challenges should be channelled through the proper channels.

 

He added that presently YEDC technical staff are going round the town to take records of what is needed to ensure constant power supply and solicited maximum cooperation from the public.
