Tribunal:
Jittery Gov Ishaku  dangles N2bn at Sani Danladi to drop 'mandate'
‎ • Sends emissaries to negotiate with APC candidate

Governor Darius Ishaku is jittery on losing his victory at the election petition tribunal, thus he is  making overtures to the All Progressive Congress APC governorship candidate Senator Sani Abubakar Danladi, Taraba Truth and Facts can exclusively report.

Several sources confirmed to Taraba Truth and Facts that, Governor Ishaku had reached out to the Sultan of Sokoto, Abubakar Sa'ad II and Emir of Bauchi Alhaji Rilwan Suleiman Adamu to broker a deal between him and Sani Danladi of the APC.

A source in Government House said the governor also delegated some prominent citizens of the State to meet with the APC candidate, pestering him not to challenge the election results at the tribunal.

"The governor is bothered about Sani and APC going to the elections tribunal, since he has a good case but to douse the religious tension in the state, the Governor is reaching out to them (Sani Danladi and APC), he is proposing  a unity government with APC if they don't challenge his victory.‎

"Also the religious dimension both in the voting pattern and the post election violence took was worrisome, so the Governor therefore reached out to the Sultan of Sokoto and Emir of Bauchi to talk to Sani Danladi to compromised his mandate."‎

Another source from the PDP said ‎ the governor is offering the APC candidate two billion naria and a support for his governorship ambition in 2023. ‎

"Yes, the governor is reaching out to Sani Contact on him not going to the tribunal, ‎the APC has a good case and it might spell doom for the governor and the PDP. So we are interested in dialogue with Sani to drop his mandate for now, especially since the governor is willing to support him in 2023.‎

"Parts of what Governor Ishaku is offering includes four commissioners to be nominated by Sani Contact, 5 special advisers, juicy contracts and a sum of 2bn to cover his expenses during campaign," the source said.‎

The Source could not confirm if the APC candidate agreed to it " but he has been briefed on it.‎ We have sent about four emissaries, to him but he has not given us his word yet.

A high-ranking member of the APC in the state said the party is studying the information, describing it as credible.

"We heard the information but we are yet to confront Sani Danladi on the issue but I can assure you that the party would go to court. Already the APC senatorial candidates for Taraba North and South, Engr. Ahmed Yusuf and General Ishaya Bauka have already filed their petitions at the tribunal, so the APC would do everything to reclaim it's mandate stolen by the PDP," the APC member said.
An APC chieftain from the Central Zone said some members of the party are brokering the deal with the state governor. Infact some lawyers meet on how to water down the evidence to give the PDP a soft landing at the tribunal but like I said we are watching, the mandate is even beyond the candidate, it's belongs to the people.‎
"You think Sani Danladi would drop his mandate for 2bn, I can tell you he won the election and he's very determined to be sworn in, the PDP cannot rigged election and rig judiciary, they are only scared of their days in court." the source said.‎
‎‎
Another high-ranking APC member said if this is confirmed, then Sani has shown the people who went through all the rough and tumble for APC, and the people who died that they have suffered and died for nothing, and that they will never forgive him. How can you make people lay their lives for this, and then turn around and give it all up for N2bn?‎
